This isn’t a traditional likeness. It’s closer to a collaboration — between what you share, what I notice, and what arrives when I start to paint.
Before I begin, we talk. Sometimes it’s a FaceTime, sometimes a few written questions, sometimes something slower and more open — a guided meditation where symbols and images can surface on their own.
You tell me what you want to share. I listen for what’s underneath it.
You can send photos if you’d like a general likeness, but most of what I’m painting isn’t your face. It’s something harder to photograph.
