Painting your Muse

In this relaxed, guided workshop, you’ll paint a portrait of your muse, whoever that is for you that night!

Bring a selfie, a photo of a friend or loved one, a mental image of your “higher self,” or nothing at all and see who shows up on the canvas. We’ll start with simple, approachable face-drawing steps, then loosen things up with color, pattern, texture, and all the little details that make a painting feel personal.

You might add flowers, favorite colors, a bold background, a tiny bird, a moon, a phrase you need to remember, or a pattern that just makes you happy. There’s no single “right” version of the portrait—the good part is seeing what appears as you paint.

I’ll offer prompts, demos, and plenty of practical help along the way, but this isn’t a formal portrait class. It’s a night to experiment, play with faces, try new things,…
